Hey why do we need to reset gradients every time we update the weight?

when a gradient is calculated, it is equivalent to performing dy/dx.

Now, if you do not reset the gradients, the next time you call upon them,

they will become d/dx(dy/dx) = d2y/dx2 i.e. d squared y by d x-squared meaning second differentials.

dy/dx is the slope of the line-graph in the x-y axes. d2y/dx2 does not make sense in this context.
