I get the impression from the lesson that:

  • a shape of (10000,) is a simple list of numbers

  • a shape of (10000,1) is a matrix consisting of 10000 rows and one column

Generally most models in ML libraries in python take inputs as a 2D array , i,e one input may be of shape (1,x) where x is the number of columns that our target is dependent uporn and 1 represent 1 input. so if there are (10000,x) inputs this means there are 10000 different inputs with x columns (here x is 1).
